A county race course required two tractors to prepare the track and grounds for horse races and other popular events.
BWT worked closely with the tractor dealer to find suitable wheel options for the two Claas Arions. Efforts were made to ensure that the wheel equipment enhanced the performance of the machine while protecting the ground conditions.
The race track, which is made of loose recycles fibres needed to be loosened and reconditioned regularly – this meant that during races the tractors would have to recondition the track to ensure it kept in top quality for the horses. The track material gathers heat very quickly and it was important tyres were chosen that could manage this heat build up.
We supplied 650/65R30.5 & 520/60R22.5 Michelin CargoXbib tyres on rims.
