The VF 650/75R38 Bridgestone combination is a great option for both low-pressure or high weight capacity in a 650mm wide – being a VF tyre it can either run at 40% lower pressure or carry 40% higher weight (compared to a standard tyre).
The other low pressure 650mm wide Bridgestone option is the VF 650/65R42 Bridgestone (set code A0015 – click here) – this will not run at quite such a low pressure nor carry such heavy weight, but it does cost less.
The Bridgestone VT-Tractor is a VF tyre, this means it can carry 40% more weight at the same pressure as a standard tyre, or it can carry the same weight at 40% lower pressure than a standard tyre.
The maximum weights these tyres can carry is as follows:
Rear: 175D/172E 6900kg up to 65kmh or 6300kg up to 70kmh
Front: 155D/152E 3875kg up to 65kmh or 3550kg up to 70kmh
The Bridgestone VT-Tractor is a VF tyre, designed to run at low pressure. Below are the weights you can carry with these Bridgestone tyres at the lowest pressure possible.
Rear: At 9psi (0.6bar) this tyre will carry 3365kg up to 50kmh
Front: At 9psi (0.6 bar) this tyre will carry 2150kg up to 50kmh
|Tyre maximum load (kg) at tyre pressure|
|Rear: VF650/75R38 Bridgestone VT-Tractor|
|0.6 bar||0.8 bar||1.0 bar||1.2 bar||1.4 bar||1.6 bar|
|9 psi||12 psi||15 psi||17 psi||20 psi||23 psi|
|up to 50 kmh||3775|
|up to 65 kmh||4485||5000||5755||6340||6900|
*For optimum road performance, and/or intensive road use, Bridgestone recommend increasing inflation pressures by 0.6bar/9psi up to a maximum of 2bar/29psi
